THIS IS FOR YOU IF

You are a VA or OBM (or similar client-facing service provider) and you:

IF THIS SOUNDS

LIKE YOU

  • Over-explain, over-apologise, or soften your authority without meaning to

  • Freeze in client conversations when the stakes feel higher

  • Say yes too quickly, then resent it later

  • Want to deal with scope creep and boundary pushing, but hate conflict

  • Want to sound clear and professional without sounding harsh, scripted, or “corporate”

Importantly – The Messaging Reset is NOT for you if:

  • You only want to use ChatGPT for client communication instead of learning to lead it

  • You want generic done-for-you scripts that don’t have context, and don’t apply judgement or practice the conversations

  • You aren’t willing to do the short weekly workbook and make in-time submissions

  • You don’t want to attend live at all (we get life happens and so replays exist for those times, but the biggest changes happen in the live sessions!)

  • You want a hands-off fix without looking at how you actually respond in real conversations

What changes by the end

You leave with:

  • Stronger baseline language (with less defaulting to “just”, “sorry”, “no worries”, “I’m probably wrong but…”)

  • Clearer client boundaries and scope lines that reduce messy back-and-forth

  • A repeatable way to lead tricky conversations (scope, timelines, revisions, payment, pauses, expectations)

  • Messaging that matches your expertise so you stop sounding like the employee

  • You’ll build client communication assets you can reuse, not just notes you never open again

Why this is way better than templates or ChatGPT prompts

AI can suggest wording. It cannot train you to hold a boundary when a client pushes back, changes the goalposts, or escalates the urgency.

The Messaging Reset trains two things you need in real client work:

  • Default Lines (your clam, standard responses)

  • Escalation lines (your firmer follow-up when the first line is ignored)

You stop improvising under pressure. You learn how to redirect the interaction professionally, without spiralling.

What you leave with

By Week 5, you leave with:

  1. Client Communication Standards Sheet

Response times, turnaround, channels, revisions, availability, plain English boundaries.

  2. Scope Creep Escalation Ladder

Your standard line plus a firmer escalation line you can use when it keeps happening.

  3. Tricky Conversation Map

A simple framework for hard conversations that keeps you factual, clear, and decisive.

  4. Follow-up Sequence Pack

Missing inputs, approvals, late payment, and closing loops without chasing forever.

  5. Pause + Restart Rules

Client-requested pauses and provider-enforced pauses, including restart rules.

  6. Personal Language List

Your do-not-use and use-instead swaps based on your actual patterns.

  7. Practice in rewriting your messages

Embedding how to communicate with your clients professional while holding your boundaries.

You choose what you implement and leave with skills you can immediately integrate into your business.

HOW IT WORKS

Each week follows the same rhythm.

Before the live call (required):

  • Complete the week’s workbook (30 to 50 minutes)

  • Submit your workbook at least 48 hours before the live session

  • Bring one real client scenario to workshop

In the live sessions

  • Teaching anchor + rewrite lab + coaching (Weeks 1 to 3)

  • Integration Clinic refinement and finalising (Week 5)

After the live call (optional):

  • Short reflection prompt

  • Optional practice task if it matches your client work that week

Portal support

  • From the moment you join, you'll have access to additional support via the private group portal where you can ask questions, seek clarification or get feedback (yes, huzzah for an in-built supportive community).

  • As a foundation bonus, your cohort group will remain open for access through to the end of 2026.

Program Outline

Week Zero: Prep (no group call)

We set your baseline so Week 1 can go straight into practical work.

- Program questionnaire submitted prior to your 1:1

- Have your first 30-minute 1:1 with Lee (Foundation bonus)

- Gather examples of current client comms you want to tighten and note down experiences you have had with clients where you would love to go back and look at how you approached it

- Complete Week 1 workbook before the Week 1 live call

Week 1: Reset Your Default Voice 1 hr 45 mins

Stop minimising and build calm, clear business-owner language that still sounds like you.

You will:

- Identify your default softeners and employee-language habits

- Build your personal language swaps

- Draft your standards in plain English

- Rewrite at least one real message (I wasn’t joking when I said you can start applying this stuff straight away!)

Week 2: Scope Creep and Boundary Pushing (90 mins)

Contain scope creep early and hold boundaries without over-explaining or apologising.

You will:

- Learn the escalation ladder (clarify, contain, confirm, consequence)

- Draft your scope clarity statement

- Create three scope creep scripts in your preferred style

- Build your standard line and firmer line

Week 3: The Tricky Stuff (90 mins)

Behavioural boundaries, pauses, and hard conversations including delays and late payment.

You will:

- Set behavioural boundaries (tone, urgency, overload, repeated breaches)

- Draft pause and restart rules (client-requested and provider-enforced)

- Build follow-up sequences for missing inputs and late payment

- Use the Tricky Conversation Map to lead hard conversations cleanly

Week 4: Implementation Break (support continues)

This is where you embed what you have built.

Update onboarding, agreement segments, templates, portal info

Test scripts in real client work and refine what feels natural

Have your second 30-minute 1:1 consult with Lee during this week (Foundation bonus)

Portal support continues

Week 5: Integration Clinics (small group, run across three timeslots per cohort)

This is where it gets finalised and locked in.

- Small group clinics (3/3/4 per cohort)

- You submit your integration workbook prior so the session stays practical

- We tighten your wording in-session so you leave with a usable version immediately

- You choose your default and escalation lines so you are not improvising

Live Session Time

Live sessions will take place on Thursdays at 1:00pm AEST

The Week 5 Integration clinics for your cohort will all be held on one day. You’ll be allocated into small groups for your session. The exact session times will be available for participants to book in Week 2.

Support & Expectations

  • Support is provided through the private group community participants will join

  • Response window: within 24 business hours (business days)

Hot seat offer guarantee:

If you submit your weekly workbook at least 48 hours before the live session, you will be offered at least one coached hot seat across Weeks 1 to 3.

Participation and Refund Policy

This is a small-group live program.

Your place is reserved and delivery is planned around the cohort and the active participation of members. Please enrol only if you are ready to participate during the dates noted earlier.

Refunds are not offered for the foundation round, however one of the benefits of joining the foundation round experience is that you have a higher-touchpoint level of access to me to seek feedback or ask questions through the community portal. You’ll also receive the two bonus 1:1 sessions with me that won’t be included for future cohorts.

So, during the program, please do not hesitate to provide feedback if there is program content that is not meeting your needs and I will look to provide additional resources and support.
